In this section, we provide information that might be useful for users who have data privacy or GDPR concerns/requirements. We are aware that personal medical data is often bound to a specific location or the organisation that owns the data. Upon request, we can organize for Minutia Discovery™ to be run on your physical servers/computers as a standalone application. We can also remove ourselves from the loop so that only personnel from your organization can handle and see the data. Please get in touch for more info. 

 

Data Anonymization

Discovery does not perform any kind of anonymization on the data. However, sample names or subject IDs (column headers) are ignored and are not used or displayed in any way. If you have data privacy or GDPR constraints, please perform sample anonymization before processing them with Discovery.

 

Data Usage

The data updated via Discovery demo is not permanently saved anywhere and the results are displayed to you only. Once you close the webpage, the memory is flushed and there won’t be any trace left of either the input data or the results. We are also not saving any intermediate results or model parameters. The only data that is tracked is the number of accesses to the tool via the web page and how much computing power is used by each run.

Discovery is running on a server based in The Netherlands (European Union).
